“…The intensity of tuber greening may be affected by the allelic diversity of a large number of genes involved in those processes but also by the factors like skin colour, thickness and texture, tuber flesh colour and density, as well as many environmental factors [4]. Our data only partially confirmed previous reports and our main hypothesis on polygenic inheritance of tuber greening [7][8][9][10][11].
