“…In a study conducted by Lee et al in Korean women, a Leiden Factor V mutation was not found, and protein S deficiency was found in 13.5% of the women . In this study, we observed the presence of Leiden Factor V in 5.6% of the patients, protein C deficiency in 11.1% of the patients, protein S in 36.4% of the patients, and antithrombin III in 25.0% of the patients; our results are similar to the pattern of thrombophilia observed in an Indian population . The association between MTHFR polymorphism and gestational loss still deserves discussion and research, and it is noteworthy that the vast majority of research on the role of thrombophilia with RM are association studies and the cause and effect factors cannot be evaluated .…”

“…Thrombophilia, an alteration of hemostasis, has been frequently associated with RPL. 7,10,11 In the present study, women with URPL demonstrated increased levels of DD, Fg, and platelet aggregation in response to AA, and decreased levels of TT, APTT, and PT before pregnancy. The LRM, including AA, TT, APTT, PT, DD, and FDP, had an overall accuracy of 80.9%, with a sensitivity of 78.5% and a specificity of 78.3%.…”
