Abstract

Agro-technological innovations and structural changes in the vegetable growing industry in the field of greenhouse material preparation. New approaches to the cultivation of vegetable crops are needed to ensure the uniformity of plants, their high survival rate and a decrease in post-plant stress, and early fruiting. One such technique is growing closed-root plants in cassettes. The main advantages of such plants are: evenness, 100% survival rate in the open ground, the possibility of planting plants 5-10 days earlier than usual, increased plant viability, suitability for mechanized planting, getting a run up to 15-20 days, as well as creating conditions for growing 2-6 yields of vegetable crops per unit area.This article discusses the potential of basil for both nutritional and health benefits. In general, the authors of the article from a scientific point of view, found out the most important properties of basil for mankind.
