“…Various conceptualizations of psychological functioning, such as the wellness model (Myers & Sweeney, 2004), highlight the interconnectivity of career development aspects with other domains of functioning. In addition, connections between career development and mental health have been found in numerous studies (Cardoso, 2016; Constantine & Flores, 2006; Corbière, Mercier, & Lesage, 2004; Gati et al, 2011; Osborn, Hayden, Peterson, & Sampson, 2016; Rottinghaus, Jenkins, & Jantzer, 2009; Saunders, Peterson, Sampson, & Reardon, 2000; Walker & Peterson, 2012). “…The two newly developed career counseling instruments used in the current research to facilitate the working alliance between the participant and the counselor [34] elicited the participant's career-life story [55,56] and yielded complementary data that were later integrated to help the participant not only choose a career but, especially, deal with his deep sense of insecurity. Change was promoted through the implementation of self-and career construction [56] as well as reflexivity processes and outcomes [27].…”

“…Although it is not totally possible to combine some basic identifications in the same therapeutic environment within the conceptualization framework of various theories (Oddli, Nissen-Lie, & Halvorsen, 2016), the assumption of the difficulties the individuals live are multidimensional and thus a theory might not be sufficient in terms of providing solutions for the problems of individuals causes the acceptance of comprehensive interventions (Cardoso, 2016;Hicks, Alexander, and Jones, 2016;Lin, 2016;Wu, Huang, Jackson, Suve & Morrow, 2016). For example, the eclectic approach that can be conducted on having parents accept their disabled child facilitates a person both benefiting from notions of psychodynamic approaches to understand personal dynamics of the difficulty s/he experiences and behavioristic techniques by having him or her participate in social environments to face this problem.…”
