“…Seasonal-to decadal-scale temperature dipoles in the North Atlantic region have been highlighted for the late Holocene, in comparisons of Greenland ice-core data with historical data sets, and have been suggested to be influenced by the NAO (Barlow et al, 1997;Barlow, 2001;).
