Interband transitions in ZnSnP2 and CdGeAs2 crystals in the photon energy range from 1 to 11 eV

Abstract

The reflection spectra of ZnSnP2 crystals with chalcopyrite and sphalerite structure and CdGeAs2 crystals with chalcopyrite structure have been investigated in the energy range from 1 to 11 eV. The observed reflectance maxima correspond to the interband transitions at the Γ, L, and X points of the Brillouin zone and to transitions from d‐bands.
