Industry 5.0 is an integral driving force for industrial development to overcome a resurgent strategic drift. This solution is a perfect tool to ensure a sustainable, human-centered, and resilient industry and encourage man-machine collaboration within intelligent cyber-social systems. A complete shift to Industry 5.0 is only feasible when industrial systems apply digital strategizing to enhance digital development. That would invite technologies and humans to facilitate all operational and customer dealings, significantly increasing the rate of innovation. This research aims to articulate a multi-perspective conceptual framework based on the premises of digital development of industrial systems in the strategic drift to Industry 5.0. The methodology implied in this research rests on an interview with industry experts, a case study of digitalization leaders in 2021, extensive and systematic literature review and scientometric analytical tools, content analysis and foresight. In this paper, the authors reframe the concept of digital strategy and consider it as a notion independent of digitalization strategy and digital transformation strategy that is traditionally based on the formation of digital thinking, implementation of digital behavior patterns, the transformation of mindset, and strategic wisdom. As a result, a brand-new perspective on Industry 5.0 is suggested -Nooindustry 5.0. This digital development framework provides grounds for a digital business strategy to advance and shapes a platform-operating model to nurture the digital maturity of industrial systems. This research identifies key strategies for the transformation of an industrial system into a bionic one to sail through the current strategic drift. Further scientific work has to be carried out in order to assess the impact and effects of digital development of industrial systems while shifting to Industry 5.0.

The relevance of research is due to the low-level penetration of the closed-loop economy in the world tending to decline: From 9.1% in 2018 to 8.6% in 2020. In order to keep our world liveable and prosperous for current and future generations, global circularity must be doubled to 17%. The industrial ecosystems of the Russian Federation place the great importance on the global sustainability agenda and ESG transformation. However, this fact does not yet allow to overcome the main problems on the way of development of industrial ecosystems in the closed-loop economy of the RF - the galloping growth of production and consumption waste, as well as the trend of anti-decoupling, characteristic of the linear, highly material-intensive commodity-heavy economic model, one of the most inert and unstable. The aim of the study is to substantiate the theoretical concept of effective sustainable ESG development of industrial ecosystems in the closed-loop economy. The dialectical approach is fundamental in the research process, in addition to which we used the systemic, complex, interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, project, value, holistic approaches and the whole complex of methods (comparative analysis, semantic analysis, historical method, method of differentiation of taxonomic features, etc.). The analysis of the narrative of closed-loop economy development on the basis of the historical method and the comparative analysis of the closed-loop economy concepts made it possible to present the closed-loop economy as an umbrella term for a multitude of co-evolving concepts. Identification of the semantic core of the existing definitions of closed-loop economy based on broad and narrow specialized approaches has allowed to represent the author’s vision of the essence of the closed-loop economy. The identification of the primary causes of the need for a closed-loop economy, principles, approaches, factors, strategies at three levels, circular business models, effects on the stages of the chain of circular value creation based on cross-sectoral and holistic approaches, taxon differentiation method based on taxonomic features allowed to identify the essential features of the closed-loop economy in industry and develop the concept of effective sustainable development of industrial ecosystems in the closed-loop economy. The direction of further research is to form a methodology of strategic management of effective sustainable ESG development of industrial ecosystems in a closed-loop economy.

Theoretical concepts for the formation of an intelligent cyber-physical technopolis, an innovation-active cluster, and the provision of economic security for a depressed area are being studied. The evolution of the technopolis paradigm has been systematized over more than forty years. Three stages of the technopolis paradigm development have been identified: the first stage from 1983 to 1990, the second stage from 1990 to 2000, and the modern, third stage from 2000 to the present. Characteristics of the evolution of the technopolis paradigm are provided from the perspective of the conditions for development and the strategies for the implementation of technopolises. Key terminological constructs of the considered concept, such as technopolis and innovation-active cluster, are examined. A conceptual scheme of the "technopolis wheel" is presented, which broadly includes three key segments: networks and connectivity, investment capital, and innovation and R&D. It is shown that the key segments of the technopolis wheel are revealed based on seven components, connected by influencing agents. Four factors of technopolis development are identified. The concept of the technopolis wheel has important implications for the formation of a system-forming innovation-active cluster to enhance the economic security of the region. The main directions for further development of the technopolis paradigm are considered to be the need to create technological sovereignty under conditions of global competitiveness, distributed collaborative forms of cooperation based on networks, platforms, and ecosystems, the establishment of intensive partnerships based on the fivefold innovation spiral, and the creation of "smart" megacities in the intelligent economy.
