Intrapartum spontaneous rupture of liver hemangioma

Abstract: A 28-year-old pregnant woman presented at 35 weeks' gestation to obstetric triage with vague abdominal symptoms, stable vital signs and a non-reassuring fetal heart rate. During Cesarean section, intraperitoneal hemorrhage was noted, secondary to spontaneous rupture of a liver hemangioma. We present the perioperative management of a patient with liver hemangioma, along with a review of the literature.
