Abstract:Background: An intravitreal dexamethasone implant (DEX-I) was found to be effective and safe for the treatment of cystoid macular edema (CME) after vitrectomy for rhegmathogenous retinal detachment (RRD) and in silicone oil (SO)-filled eyes.
