Selama ini riset tentang tumbuhan langka masih terbatas dilakukan oleh para ahli dari instansi terkait, seperti Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) (Widjaja et al, 2014;Robiansyah & Davy, 2015;von Rintelen et al, 2017;Susiarti et al, 2018), North Carolina Natural Heritage Program N.C. Department of Natural andCultural Resources (Robinson, 2018), IUCN (Hilton-Taylor, 2000;Dodo, 2015), Ministry Of Science, Technology and Innovation Government of Malaysia (Chua et al, 2010), Fauna and Flora (CITES, 2017), dan berbagai Perguruan Tinggi (Soejono, 2014;Harun-ur-Rashid et al, 2014), tetapi diperkirakan belum ada publikasi tentang literasi tumbuhan langka melalui pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dalam rangka berorientasi pada pengenalan dan pengamatan tumbuhan langka Indonesia, maka studi tentang literasi tumbuhan langka pada mahasiswa Biologi perlu dilakukan melalui tugas perkuliahan Biologi Tumbuhan yaitu mini riset.…”
