“…Self-efficacy is defined as “people’s beliefs of their capabilities to organize and execute the courses of action required to manage prospective situations” ( Bandura, 1995 , p. 2). It is believed that the stronger the employee’s self-efficacy, the more likely they are to take action and be confident in their decisions ( Okpozo et al, 2017 ; Hans and Gupta, 2018 ). If an employee’s self-efficacy was high, they would make greater efforts and insist action is taken in the face of possible negative results and social risks ( Parker et al, 2006 ).…”

“…Ethical leaders help to produce a positive work environment, and employees are likely to develop trust among themselves in the presence of ethical practices used in the organization. Okpozo, Gong, Ennis, and Adenuga [30] examined the linkage between ethical leadership and aspects of employee burnout by adding two mediators to their models such as perceived supervisor support and general self-efficacy. They revealed that the support from the supervisor has strong mediation effects on the managing burnout among employees that shows the importance of the ethical leaders who provide support in times of difficulties and help people to work together in the best possible manner.…”
