In order to further improve the teaching quality evaluation accuracy of physical education(abbreviated as PE) curriculum in colleges, this study conducts an in-deep research on the overall evaluation of PE teaching effect in colleges from the aspects of teachers’ teaching ability and students’ learning effect based on the hybrid technology of data mining and hidden Markov model. First of all, this study analyzes the development status of the teaching quality evaluation system of PE curriculum in colleges; Secondly, it analyzes the applicability of data mining technology and hidden Markov model to the evaluation of PE teaching quality in colleges, and proposes a mathematical model for evaluating the quality of PE teaching in colleges; Finally, this study carries out a series of experiments on the basis of mathematical models, and analyzes the experimental results in depth. The experimental analysis shows that the model proposed in this paper is helpful to improve the accuracy of PE teaching quality evaluation in colleges. The research results of this study provide a useful exploration for the integration of computing technology and language teaching. At the same time, it provides a reference path and implementation model for improving the teaching of PE for graduates in colleges through machine learning technology.

Objective: To improve the college student's English level by combining English language teaching with cultural teaching through "Internet+" technology. Method: This paper introduces the concepts of "Internet+" and Cross-Culture, and analyses the importance of cultural factors in English teaching. It also studies the teaching content of the combination of English teaching and cultural teaching. It mainly includes the cultural connotation of English words, English syntax and discourse structure features. Beyond this there are the cultural background, ways of thinking, communication styles, behaviour, and their values in Anglo-American countries. In addition, this paper builds flipped English classroom teaching modes based on MOOC and Micro-Class, and introduces the current mobile learning environment and generalized learning environment. Results: Compared with the traditional teaching mode, "Internet+" provides abundant teaching resources for English teaching, and diversified learning approaches. These advantages can meet diverse needs of students' English learning, which greatly mobilizes the learning interest. At the same time, the combination of cultural teaching has further improved students' English learning efficiency. Conclusions: According to their individual needs, both teachers and students can choose appropriate teaching methods so that they can learn English quickly and efficiently. Meanwhile, applying Internet technology can help students better understand the cultural background of Anglo-American countries, which is conducive to the integration of English learning and cultural knowledge and improving Cross-Cultural communication skills.

This study was an assessment of the evaluation standards of “Practical Education” module of the Elementary Education Undergraduate Program in Arab Open University/Jordan. Its main focus was to investigate problems and views raised by the students in order to develop more accurate standards to evaluate their performance. The curriculum characteristics of the module as well as the students’ portfolios and field reports had been reviewed. A questionnaire and a detailed face-to-face interactive meeting had been conducted with 55 male and female students in the academic year 2018/2019. The results show that the students stress the need to adopt practical applications standards to evaluate the skill goals sought by the curriculum instead of focusing on their knowledge. The students express their need to develop their skills in planning, implementation of teaching tasks and evaluation, while the evaluation standards measure their ability to recall theoretical information. They stress their need to extend their training period in field in order to acquire enough practical experience to be more efficient to carry out their tasks properly. The findings of the study can be applicable for other countries, especially the developing countries, in the sense of developing modern evaluation standards for practical field training of their student teachers, as well as improving curricula that respond to the schools’ requirements in a changing world.
