“…Besides, GelMA‐PBA membrane was immobilized onto the GO‐Zn samples with free radical polymerization. The surface wettability could direct or indirect affect the biological responses of biomaterials (Shen et al, ; Yuan et al, ). In this work, the water contact angle of GO‐Zn/GeMA‐PBA was 56.0 ± 7.6° (Figure a), which was consistent with a previous study (Liu et al, ).…”

“…Protein adsorption is the first biological event after implantation of biomaterials, which is prerequisite for cell adhesion and proliferation (Yuan et al, ). The significant difference of BSA adsorption between bare Ti group and modified groups was caused by the two‐dimensional GO, which providing much more binding sites for protein adsorption (Figure a).…”

“…A number of studies have proved that strategies, such as engineering surface topography (micro/nanostructures), [19][20][21] calcium phosphate coatings, 7,22,23 metallic elements, 24,25 extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins, 26,27 biomolecular coatings incorporating growth factors, [28][29][30] and so forth, can distinctly promote osseointegration by positively regulate cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. Independently, growth factors play important roles in tissue repair and regeneration.…”
