Investigation of the Moisture Exchange in a Stationary Adsorbent Layer Through which Air is Passed

Abstract: The nonstationary moisture exchange between a stationary adsorbent layer and the air passed through it has been experimentally investigated. It is shown that the air humidity can be effectively regulated at both the stage of water adsorption (air dehumidification) and the stage of water desorption (air humidification) with the use of commercially produced desiccants.
