“…Deriving KdV and mKdV equations, Yadav et al 21 have studied nonlinear ion acoustic periodic wave in two electron temperature plasma. It was found that frequencies of mKdV cnoidal and snoidal waves have different amplitude dependence than that of the KdV equation governing cnoidal waves.…”

“…In that case, the stretching defined in Equation does not remain valid; one has to use higher‐order stretching for independent variables, which gives a modified KdV (or mKdV) equation instead of the KdV equation. The mKdV equation can have cnoidal wave and soliton solutions in terms of cn and sec h , respectively, which is beyond the scope of the present work. The mKdV equation has single soliton as well as multisoliton solution, under the vanishing boundary conditions of Φ at infinity and the characteristics of mKdV solitons are different from KdV solitons.…”

“…Stasiewicz found the wave solution in the form of train of solitons for nonlinear electrons' and ions' inertial waves in an anisotropic plasma. The ion‐acoustic nonlinear periodic waves in electron–positron–ion (EPI) plasma , two electrons' plasma, and PI plasma have also been investigated. According to our knowledge, the nonlinear periodic waves in multi‐ion plasmas have not been studied yet.…”

“…They used the kinetic and fluid models for both the ion species. Yadav et al [10] have studied the nonlinear ion-acoustic periodic waves in two-electron temperature plasmas. Solitary waves and weak double layers in a two-electron temperature auroral plasma have been studied by Berthomier et al [11] and applied their results to Viking satellite observations.…”
