Abstract:The article describes the design of regular structure flat-slit irrigated nozzles of porous plastic plates with hills with various nature of airflow in their channels. It is shown that the intensification of heat and mass transfer (turbulence due to the artificial movement of air in the channels) provides a significant reduction in the size of the nozzle when the desired effectiveness of lowering the temperature of the processed air and acceptable aerodynamic drag.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
