Isolated neuroparacoccidioidomycosis as a pseudotumoral lesion in the absence of systemic disease

Abstract: Background: Paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM) is a systemic, progressive, noncontagious, and often chronic disease caused by the fungus Paracoccidioides brasiliensis that rarely affects the central nervous system (CNS).
