Isolates of Cryptococcus neoformans from Infected Animals Reveal Genetic Exchange in Unisexual, α Mating Type Populations

Abstract: Sexual reproduction and genetic exchange are important for the evolution of fungal pathogens and for producing potentially infective spores.
