Isolation Of Spindle In Sleep EEG Using The Asymptotic Local Approach

Abstract: A common problem in analysing EEG signals lies in the detection and isolation of particular events such as spindle or K complex. In this paper the authors propose a sequential method far spindle detection and boundaries isolation which is based on the use of the asymptotic local approach. The method has been applied to sleep EEG signals and yielded excellent results.
