Probably due to this unusual habitat, many studies were carried out, especially on Isoparorchis hypselobagri, regarding its life history, host range, geographical distri bution, as well as its physiology under the oxygen-rich environment (Rai and Pande, 1965;Srivastava, 1977;Hanna and Nizami, 1990;Kiger et al, 1998).
