Joining Efforts of Nitroxide-Mediated Polymerization (NMP) and Cobalt-Mediated Radical Polymerization (CMRP) for the Preparation of Novel ABC Triblock Copolymers

Abstract: Experimental MaterialsVinyl acetate (VAc, >99%, Aldrich) and acrylonitrile (AN, >99%, Aldrich) were dried over calcium hydride, degassed by several freeze-thawing cycles before by several freeze-thawing cycles being distilled under reduced pressure and stored under argon. 4-Vinyl pyridine (4VP, ~95%, Aldrich) was used as received. 2,2'-Azo-bis-(4-methoxy-2,4-dimethyl valeronitrile)
