“…Therefore, the content of AgCl NPs below the antibacterial threshold can reduce the cytotoxicity of the hydrogel, which is availed to the reparation of the damaged skin. For the purpose of antibacterial as well as inhibiting the adhesion and proliferation of cell-like organisms, hydrogel AS75 can be used as a benchmark to achieve the dual role of antibacterial and the inhibition of cell-based bio-adhesion [38,39].…”

“…The formation of AgCl NPs is usually associated with the biogenic synthesis of Ag nanoparticles using plant extracts and microorganisms (DurĂĄn et al, 2016). Other researchers have reported similar results (Chankaew et al, 2018;Feiziet al, 2018;Okaiyeto et al, 2019). The AgCl formation could be due to the reaction among Ag + from AgNO 3 , and the Cl − ions from the aqueous leaf extract of L. tridentata.…”

“…The modified Gompertz model has been described by Zwietering et al [70] and adapted by Li et al [69] and other authors [71][72][73][74][75][76][77][78] as a model that adjust the growth curves and where A is the cell number expressed as OD 540 (S. aureus and E. coli) and OD 600 (C. albicans), ÎŒ is the growth rate at the exponential phase and e is the exponential e 1 , is the lag phase. We have adjusted our growth kinetic using a software origin 9.1 to analyze the effects over S. aureus, E. coli, and C. albicans of the three agents AuNPs, AgNPs, and Au@AgNPs.…”
