This study aims to describe the shift in character and morals of Bawang Putih and Bawang Merah stories in the Digital Age. Data were collected by reading and listening to stories and recording the required data. The data were validated by triangulation theory and the accuracy of the researchers. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a comparative technique, namely comparing the character and moral messages in traditional stories with characters and moral messages in digital stories. The results showed that (1) the character of Bawang Putih in the old era was honest, kind, polite and obedient to parents, while in the digital era there was a shift that was hypocritical, cunning, and arrogant; (2) the character of Bawang Merah in the old era was greedy, arbitrarily, angry, and arbitrarily at will, while in the digital era there has been a shift in character to be persistent, not greedy, devoted, and respectful; (3) there is no shift in moral messages and old stories and digital stories. The moral message is to keep doing good even though it is not appreciated.
