This research was conducted because researchers are interested in the many parents' interest in sending their children to school, even though the school will not accept all incoming students. This study aims to discuss, examine, explore and describe the management of school principals in the management of tahfidz Al - Quran. The focus of the research is the management of the principal in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, inhibiting and supporting tahfidz activities. This research uses qualitative research with case study method. The research subjects were principals, teacher and student councils. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, the results of the study show that the planning of tahfidz learning in the Integrated Unggul Islamic Elementary School starts from the selection stage of incoming students, Received: 08-01-2022; Revised: 19-06-2022; Accepted: 25-06-2022 AL-FIKRAH, Volume X Nomor 1, Juni 2022 48 organizing the implementation is given responsibility to Islamic religious education teachers and competent classroom teachers. The implementation of tahfid is divided into two parts, namely the process of activities and methods of implementation, supervision is carried out by the school principal when the activity takes place, the inhibiting factor for the activity is the lack of educators who have a tahfidz background, while the supporting factors for schools have adequate facilities and infrastructure. From the results of research on the management of tahfizh activities, it is good, but a solution is needed in procuring teachers who really have the special field of tahfidz.
