This research aims to design a sensor-based hand-eye coordination measuring tool and test its validity and reliability. A total of 9 experts were involved in assessing its feasibility, each of them 3 sports measurement experts, 3 motor experts, and 3 technology experts. Meanwhile, 50 students at one of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Indonesia participated in field trials. Participants were students taking physical condition courses (aged 18-20 years), consisting of male (n1=30) and female (n2=20). A validation questionnaire was prepared and discussed with experts as a guide in providing an assessment of the relevance of the instrument (suitability, accuracy, ease, and practicality of the tool), and test-retest reliability for field trials carried out twice with the difference between the first and second tests being one week. Data were analyzed using Aiken's V Index, Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), and Pearson correlation. The research results showed that the assessment of all aspects of the measuring instrument was in the high category, and the ICC value also showed no differences between assessments (P>0.05). Then, the test-retest reliability testing results obtained a significant regression analysis with a high correlation coefficient (r=0.801; P<0.05). In conclusion, this measuring tool can collect data to improve performance in sports involving hand-eye coordination (such as volleyball, badminton, tennis, basketball, hockey, martial arts and other sports that predominantly use the hands), both for coaches, athletes and sports practitioners. The ability of eye-hand coordination is needed in table tennis performance. Therefore, measuring the eye-hand coordination of table tennis performance is necessary. This study aimed to develop a measuring instrument for table tennis eye coordination and test its validity and reliability. This study uses mixed methods-data collection using the Delphi technique and test-retest. The participants were three academic experts, four table tennis professional experts, and fourteen table tennis athletes. This research instrument uses a questionnaire with a rating scale of one to four, namely very relevant, relevant, less relevant, and irrelevant. It uses a measuring instrument for hand-eye coordination. Data analysis used Aiken's formula, Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC), and Cronbach Alpha. The results of this study that measuring eye-hand coordination of table tennis performance show the first aspect: the suitability of the coordination concept has a value of V = 0.952, the second aspect: the suitability of the number of stimuli has a value of V = 0.857, the third aspect: the suitability of distance has a value of V = 0.952, the fourth aspect: the suitability of the movement has a value of V = 0.857, the fifth aspect: the suitability of the test procedure has a value of V = 0.857. The Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) test has a value of 0.875. The reliability test has a value of 0.891. Based on these results, the eye-hand coordination measuring instrument has content validity and high reliability. Therefore, the eye-hand coordination measuring instrument can be used to measure table tennis performance.

El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura en relación a la neurociencia aplicada al deporte de alto rendimiento. Esta se realizó a través de una búsqueda en bases de datos con palabras clave como percepción visual, tiempo de reacción, tiempo de ejecución y deporte. Se identificó que existen factores mentales que determinan el éxito del deportista de alto rendimiento, estos están mediados por aspectos psiconeurofisiologicos del sistema nervioso que incrementan la actividad neuronal facilitando el aprendizaje y adaptación de gestos motores a circunstancias específicas del deporte. Como resultados, en primera instancia se determinó que existen habilidades cognitivas que son determinantes en la consecución de logros deportivos. Estas son atención sostenida, memoria verbal, velocidad de procesamiento y memoria visoespacial. Adicionalmente, existen metodologías de entrenamiento para estas habilidades que se desarrollan a través de dispositivos tecnológicos, juegos de realidad virtual y entrenamiento en campo. En conclusión, el entrenamiento de habilidades cognitivas es el camino para aumentar el rendimiento mental del deportista y generar una mejor toma de decisiones en el campo de juego que puede ser vital en la consecución de logros deportivos por parte de entidades deportivas a nivel nacional e internacional.
