Kıl Keçi ve Saanen x Kıl Keçi Melezlerinin (F1, G1, ) Üretici Şartlarında Döl Verim Özellikleri Bakımından Karşılaştırılması

Abstract: This research Amasya Sarilar (40°54'23"N, 35°08'min5"E), a private business in the years 2011-2012 between the grown Saanen x Kil goat crosbred (F1, G1) and Kil goat in the fertility characteristics to detect and genotype on these features, year was conducted to determine the effects of such factors. In the study of reproductive traits for the year 2011 only twin goats giving birth rate among genotypes were found statistically difference. The twin birth rate of Kil goat was similar in F1 crosbred and G1 is dif… Show more

“…The average birth rate, number of kids at birth, number of kids at weaning, twinning rate and survival rate of kids were 92.5%, 1.25, 1.11, 25% and 88.2%, respectively. These values were similar to the values obtained from Kilis goats in the original breeding area (Keskin et al, 2017;Özdemir and Keskin, 2018;Keskin et al, 2022) and slightly higher than the previous studies with pure and crossbred Hair goats in the mountainous area (Çelik and Olfaz, 2015;Erduran, 2021). The results indicate that Kilis goats display satisfactory levels of fertility, twinning, and kid yield, reflecting their healthy and productive nature.…”

“…There are approximately 12 million goats in Türkiye, and 90 percent of these goats are Hair goats (TURKSTAT, 2022). However, milk and fertility yields are not at the desired level in the pasturebased breeding system (Çelik and Olfaz, 2015;Atay and Gokdal, 2016;Erduran, 2021). Kilis goat is an indigenous goat breed adapted to warm climatic conditions that is known for its fertility and milk yield in the southeast of Türkiye, generally in Kilis, Gaziantep, Hatay, and Şanlıurfa provinces (Daşkıran and Yılmaz, 2018;Özdemir and Keskin, 2018).…”

“…The strong adaptation capability and advanced fertility traits are very important traits in Saanen breeding (Jia and Wei, 2016;Akdag et al, 2011;Kyssa et al, 2014). The way to improve the yields within the flock is to increase the frequency of the female and male with high genotype structure (Tozlu Celik and Oflaz, 2015). The reproductive traits are directly proportionate to the litter size, and hence, they determine the size of the herd as well as profit rate of companies.…”
