“…Due to high gas and energy storage capacity of gas hydrates and their potential for separation processes, great attention has been paid to the positive applications of this technology (such as natural gas storage and transportation, gas separation, energy storage, water desalination, refrigeration systems, and so on (Adisasmito et al 1991;Chatti et al 2005;Eslamimanesh et al 2012;Javanmardi and Moshfeghian 2003;Ji et al 2001;Li et al 2012;Ohgaki et al 1996;Xu and Ge 2011;Tanii 1994), in recent years.
