“…This evidence revealed that high KISS1R expression in Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (HER) 2-negative carcinoma could show alternate pathway to stimulate the tumor cells proliferation upon low HER 2 expression. The recent study also reported that KISS1 can be a potential therapeutic target for treating metastasized cancers via the elimination of quiescent cells or by the long-term induction of dormancy in tumor cells [26]. The kisspeptins family is generated from proteolytic cleavage by KISS1 and could affect the metastatic ability of ovarian cancer cells.…”

“…Until the present day, a wide range of NPs, including metallic NPs, polymeric NPs, semiconductor NPs, nanorods, ceramic NPs, lipid NPs, and dendrimers, have been studied and used as drug delivery applications for natural agents, including phytochemicals, in preclinical or clinical settings (Mondal et al, 2022;Spyratou et al, 2017;Zhang et al, 2017). Accumulating evidence underscores the ability of various nanoformulations of phytochemicals to enhance their aqueous solubility, bioavailability, and tumor cell specificity, as well as to limit multidrug resistance (Fakhri et al, 2023;Ghanbari-Movahed et al, 2022;Kashyap et al, 2021;Lagoa et al, 2020).…”

“…Metastasis suppressor inhibits metastasis by keeping the disseminated tumor cells in a state of dormancy. 40 RECK is a membrane-anchored protein regulator, which is often downregulated in several types of cancers. As described by Yoko et al , enforced expression of RECK in tumor cells by a potent RECK-inducer, DSK638, inhibits metastasis.…”
