Abstract:Introduction: Diphtheria is an upper respiratory tract infection caused by Corynebacterium diphtheria bacterium. The recent diphtheria outbreak caused a large number of deaths in rapid period. This is due to the absence of a fast and precise method of diphtheria diagnosis.
