Klasifikasi Kakao Berbasis e-nose dengan Metode Neuro Fuzzy

Abstract: During this time to clasify quality of cacao based on color and aroma involving human taster. But this cacao tester still has weaknesses such as subjective. Besides that, the standard chemical analytical methods requires a high cost and need expertise to analyzing it. Basically aroma of cacao is determined by volatile compounds such aldehid and alcohol. Electronic nose based on unselected gas sensor array has the ability to analyze samples with complex compositions that can be known characteristics and qualita… Show more

“…Thanks to a neurodiffuser-based e-nose, "Neuro-fuzzy systems (NFS) are part of the concept of soft computing. They are a synergistic fusion of fuzzy logic and neural networks with the ability to automate adaptation to training data and knowledge interpretability", Rahman was able to classify cocoa quality with an accuracy rate of 95.21% (120). Rottiers conducted a study using an e-nose based on ultra-fast gas chromatography (GC) and principal component analysis to rapidly discriminate between fourteen cocoa liquors of various geographical origins and determine their quality.…”

“…Volatile Organic Compound issued by the body contained in the respiratory air has a special pattern according to genetic or environmental factors, so it can be used as a biomarker in diagnosing a disease derived from the lungs, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and asthma [5]. E-Nose is one of the instruments to transform the aroma into a sensor response, then the sensor response will be analyzed by utilizing the Artificial Neural Network (JST) method [6].…”
