“…This study investigates the role of personal, (Nonaka et al's, 2000;Tsai et al, 2013) that knowledge is produced through the interactions among people, between people or them and their environments .In addition, according to Kato et al (2012), Jeong and Choi (2014) and Casanova et al (2009), scholars' motivation and personal learning plays a critical role in creating knowledge and high-quality research. Although it is reasonable to emphasize the importance of personal aspects on KC, we cannot neglect the impact on KC of organizational factors, such as; organizational culture (Debowsky, 2006;Hendriks, 2004;Song et al, 2011Song et al, , 2012Song and Kolb, 2013;Mohammad Migdadi, 2009;vick, 2015;Von Krogh et al, 2000), top management, (Ab Aziz et al (2015), organizational structure (Kim and Lee, 2010;Kogut and Zander, 1992;Takeuchi, 1995, as cited by Bratianu, 2015;Hendriks and Sousa, 2013;Syysnummi and Laihonen, 2014), social capital and networks (Kim and Lee, 2010;Bozu and Muñoz, 2009;Akhavan et al, 2015;Bharati et al, 2015;Rego et al, 2009;Siadat et al, 2012;Ratten and Suseno, 2006;Chua, 2002;Hassanian et al, 2015;Sherif et al, 2012), collaboration (Lee and Schottenfeld, 2014;Cannella and McFadyen, 2013;Axelsson, 2010), research (Tsai et al, 2013;Hassanian et al, 2015;Hsu and Yuan, 2013), and information and communication technology (Teerajetgul and Charoenngam, 2...…”

“…Another important strategy for creating knowledge in higher education institutions is research (Tsai et al, 2013;Hassanian et al, 2015). Hsu and Yuan (2013) noted that university research tends to respond to the needs of industry, especially ICT and biotechnology. White et al (2012) concluded that a number of factors were required for a faculty member to become a successful research "star": holding a high-ranking academic position (associate professor or above); possessing greater time management skills; valuing research; allocating a great deal of time to research; taking on less teaching responsibility; and cooperation with groups that value research.…”

“…Much of the literature shows an increasing level of academic knowledge activities, such as teaching, academic publication, research joint ventures, consulting services, and patent application (D'Este & Patel, 2007;Rosell & Agrawal, 2009). A growing number of studies are now available to shed further light on knowledge diffusion in higher-education systems (Nelson, 2012;Hsu & Yuan, 2013). Following is a summary of the key factors based on literature review results for that topic.…”
