La normativa legal sobre la educación musical en la España contemporánea

Abstract

RESUMEN:Este artículo hace un recorrido por toda la normativa legal española en materia educativa a lo largo de los siglos XIX y XX, así como en los albores de la presente centuria. Para ello son analizados una serie de documentos legales, intentando extraer de los mismos todo lo relativo a la educación musical, con la finalidad de analizar la evolución de la misma. Asimismo, se hace hincapié en la actual ley educativa (LOE), ya que es el marco legal de referencia sobre el que basan su trabajo los actuales profesores de música. Palabras clave: Educación Musical, curriculum, legislación educativa, LOE.ABSTRACT: This paper goes through all the Spanish legal regulations on education during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as at the dawn of this century. For this, we analyzed a series of legal documents, trying to extract from them everything related to music education, in order to analyze the evolution of it. It also emphasizes the current Education Law (LOE), because it is the legal framework of reference on which the current music teachers base their work. Key words: Music education, curriculum, educational, LOE. 1.-INTRODUCCIÓNEl presente artículo tiene como principal objetivo revisar el lugar que la educación musical ha ocupado en las distintas disposiciones legales españolas que regulan las enseñanzas generales desde el siglo XIX hasta nuestros días.En efecto, han sido diversos los proyectos educativos que se han forjado en los dos últimos siglos en nuestro país, no obstante, no todos han llegado a buen cauce, y menos aún, han logrado definirse en una ley educativa. La aparición de la educación musical en éstos ha sido escasa y en algunos casos, nula. De hecho, tal y como apunta Puelles, "no se puede hablar, en rigor, de la existencia de un sistema educativo en España hasta la aparición del liberalismo político" (Puelles, Martos Sánchez, E. Music Education in Early Childhood Education: Influence of the General Education Law on current regulations

“…The Order of January 17, 1981, which regulates the teaching of Preschool Education and the initial cycle of Basic General Education, is the first document published in Spain as a curriculum for the Early Childhood Education stage.
