Labour Migration Trends in the Slovak Republic

Abstract: ABSTRACT. The authors of the study draw attention to the factors making the workforce leave the Slovak labour market to work abroad. Survey respondents worked abroad. There is no institution in the Slovak Republic keeping records about the number of Slovaks who study and work abroad. There are only estimates available based on secondary information, such as registration of citizens with health insurance companies.
