In published studies, the anti-viral agent has been given until the patient seroconverts from HBsAg positive to anti-HBs, which in most cases is within 3-6 months [67][68][69][70][71][72][73][74][75][76], or if the infection becomes chronic, continued indefinitely as per recommendations.
