Laparoscopic resection of a rare gastrointestinal stromal tumor in children

Abstract: IntroductionGastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) are uncommon mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, accounting for 0.1% to 3% of all GI malignancies.
