Late-Diagnosed Dislocation of the Proximal Interphalangeal Joint of the Fifth Toe in a 7-Year-Old Boy: A Case Report

Abstract: Dislocation of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint of the fifth toe is an uncommon injury and when diagnosed in the acute phase closed reduction is commonly an adequate treatment option. We describe a rare case of a 7-year-old patient presented with late diagnosed isolated dislocation of the PIP joint in the fifth toe.
