A very interesting observation of severely depleted ionosphere on the day following the St. Patrick day storm of 2015 at high latitudes (north of 65°N) was reported by (Paul et al, 2018) using GPS TEC measurements over a network of stations extending from the equator to the polar regions along the African and European longitude sector.
