Abstract: Une voie possible pour la détection et la caractérisation des souches du plum pox potyvirus (PPV) peut être l'utilisation de sérums préparés contre des protéines non structurales, en particulier la protéine des inclusions cylindriques (CIP) et la protéine ‘a’ des inclusions nucléaires (NIaP) qui induisent des inclusions volumineuses dans les cellules infectées. “…(1986) and the PPV-S antisera by B. Zawadska (unpublished) were used to test for PPV in more than one million samples in European countries from 1980 to 1995. Antisera against the nonstructural PPV proteins (CI and NIa) were obtained (Adamolle et al ., 1994) but were to be found less effective for PPV detection than conventional coat protein (CP) based antisera. Moreover, it was demonstrated that the electrophoretic mobility of CI and NIa subunits did not differ between strains, in contrast to the CP subunits.…”
