Learning Innovation of Qibla Direction with Mobile-Based App by Adapting Computational Thinking

Abstract: This research was conducted to obtain the results of the development of Learning to Determine Qibla Direction with Computational Thinking Adaptation using Mobile-Based Applications. The researcher used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory research design that takes two stages (qualitative-quantitative). The R & D stage used 5 (five) steps of the ADDIE method, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research was conducted at the office of the Ministry of Religion of … Show more

“…The Ministry of Education and Culture issues Circular No. 4 of 2020 which contains learning activities carried out online from home (Arifa, 2020) Online learning makes lecturers have to be creative in developing learning media by using several Learning Management Systems such as google classroom, google meet, zoom, whattsgroup, and other learning media (Fitriani, 2020;Sari, et al, 2022;Fathurahman, 2021). However, there are still many problems in the implementation of online learning.…”

“…Researchers have been applied GPS in many fields, such as navigation [15], attendance system [16][17], real-time tracker [18][19], Qibla Direction [4][5] [20][21] [22] and others [23]. In Qibla Direction development, some researchers combine GPS with other technology, so that it can be used on any device, for example, mobile Qibla Direction [24][25], microcontroller [4][5] [20][21] [22], and others [10] [26].…”
