Guru merupakan profesi yang sering berhadapan dengan perubahan baik di dalam kelas, di luar kelas, maupun di ruang guru dengan sesama kolega. Namun, pandemi COVID-19 yang menyebabkan perubahan drastis pada pelaksanaan sekolah, membuat guru semakin memerlukan kemampuan beradaptasi, untuk bisa menghadapi perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi. Perubahan-perubahan yang dialami antara lain seperti perubahan metode instruksional, kebutuhan mempelajari teknologi, penyesuaian kurikulum, dan banyak hal lain terkait dengan pelaksanaan kelas. Selain teknis pelaksanaan kelas, pengurangan jumlah staf di sekolah akibat COVID-19 menyebabkan guru harus beradaptasi terhadap perubahan tugas dan tanggung jawab. Rasa dukacita akibat kehilangan orang-orang terdekat di masa pandemi juga dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara negatif. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu kemampuan untuk secara konstruktif merespons terhadap perubahan, yakni adaptability. Adaptability berguna untuk menjaga motivasi guru ketika menghadapi tantangan, serta meningkatkan inisiatif untuk melakukan perubahan positif dalam berprofesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan-perubahan yang dialami oleh guru SMP dan SMA di Sekolah Hati Suci selama pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan juga bertujuan untuk memahami respons guru terhadap perubahan yang terjadi, guna merancangkan program intervensi untuk mengembangkan respons yang optimal terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Pemeriksaan terhadap kendala dan perubahan yang dialami oleh guru-guru dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara, serta menggunakan google form berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan terbuka terkait kendala yang dialami oleh guru. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari 10 partisipan, ditemukan beberapa sumber kendala yaitu kedukaan karena meninggalnya ketua yayasan, pemberhentian kolega guru di masa pandemi, serta kebutuhan menyesuaikan diri dengan pembelajaran daring.

The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic reconfigured several aspects of life, one of which is education. A study on grassroots voices on online learning is a dearth of. Therefore, a present study was addressed to uncover teachers’ and students’ voices in online learning. Questionnaires and interviews were employed to garner data. 233 students and 30 teachers’ responses from questionnaires were obtained. The interviews were conducted to obtain in-depth data. The data were interpreted descriptively. The results showcased that students’ voices on the ease of GC and GC performance were positive, yet institution support was not maximally implemented. Simultaneously, the teachers’ voices on the ease of GC, the performance of GC, and the supports of institution were positive. In a nutshell, teachers and students have a positive impression of online learning. Their positive impression comes from the ease of the online platform operation, the online platform’s good performance, but student views that the institutional support is not maximally implemented. The ease of using online platforms should be considered in choosing one of the various online platforms available. The online platform features are not complicated for students and teachers to easily operationalize the online platform and support teaching and learning activities such as delivering materials, assigning tasks, submitting a task, and assessing tasks.

The current rapid development of technology becomes an alternative for learning continuity, especially in the Covid-19 conditions. However, many educators cannot apply the technology related to Arabic learning. This study described the Arabic learning model by utilizing YouTube and google drive. The findings of this study were that the learning materials arranged in accordance with the learning implementation plan, then entered into Google Drive. The videos related to the material were distributed to students to listen and recorded what they heard. The novelty of this research is that the YGD combination can be a solution for online language learning such as the Covid-19 condition. While the weaknesses of research are related to language learning material in the grammatical aspect where the model cannot be found, so it can be the work of future researchers.
