Abstract: The frequency of fungal etiology of sinusitis contains between 9 and 49 % according to different authors. Fungal rhinosinusitis has been divided into noninvasive and invasive forms. Noninvasive infections include fungus ball (mycetoma) and allergic fungal rhinosinusitis. Invasive infections include acute (or fulminates) fungal rhinosinusitis and invasive chronic rhinosinusitis.
