Abstract:Leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminata (LPD) is a relatively rare clinical entity which is characterized by the presence of multiple nonneoplastic nodules, mainly due to smooth muscle proliferation over the surface of the abdominopelvic peritoneal cavity.
