Abstract: BackgroundTo report beta‐trace protein (β TP) levels in the subretinal fluid (SRF) of four patients with a macular detachment associated with optic disc pit (ODP).MethodsFour patients with a serous retinal detachment involving the macula was operated by pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with C2F6 gas tamponade and peeling of internal limiting membrane (ILM).
