In this study, cloud based innovative methods are introduced that allow users with motor skills impairments to access the customized learning platforms. The complete methodology relies on the development of existing technology originally developed for the Gaming Industry; Microsoft Xbox Kinect Sensor. A novel learning platform is developed for teaching students with motor skills impairments and other types of disabilities to learn Quran Recitation. The platform is integrated with a modified Kinect that allows users to access the computer software without the use of a traditional keyboard and mouse. The Kinect then acts as the interface between the uses and software. The system is designed based on the two approaches; hand-free operations via head motion and voice recognition to control the selection of items in the learning platform. For voice recognition, a dataset has also been built for training and initial testing for supervised learning. Extensive tests have been performed that proved the success of the system. This novel methodology provides a research platform for those interested in enabling students with motor skill impairments and students with disabilities in general

Islamic knowledge is gathered through the understanding the Al-Quran. It requires ontology which can capture the knowledge and present it in a machine readable structured. However, current ontology approaches is irrelevant and inaccuracy in producing true concepts of Al-Quran knowledge, because it used traditional methods that only define the concepts of knowledge without connecting to a related theme of knowledge. The themes of knowledge are important to provide true meaning and explanation of Al-Quran knowledge classification. The main aims of this paper are to demonstrate the development of ontology Al-Quran and method used for searching the Al-Quran knowledge using the semantic search approach. Expert review has been applied to validate the ontology model and evaluate the relevance and precision of searching results.

Arabic Language is the mother tongue for 23 countries and more than 350 million persons. It is the language of the Holy Quran; therefore, many non-Arabic Islamic countries, like Pakistan, teach Arabic as a second language. Nevertheless, it is observable that the Arabic content on the Web is less than what should be. The evolution of the Semantic Web (SW) added a new dimension to this problem. This paper is an attempt to figure out the problem, its causes, and to open avenues to think about the solutions. The survey presented in this paper concerned with the SW applications regarding the Arabic Language in the domains of Ontology construction and utilization, Arabic WordNet (AWN) exploiting and enrichment, Arabic Named Entities Extraction, Holy Quran and Islamic Knowledge semantic representation, and Arabic Semantic Search Engines. In fact, the study revealed serious deficiencies in dealing semantically with the Arabic Language. That is mainly owing to the rarity of tools that can support the Arabic script. Furthermore, the Arabic resources, if available, are not free. Moreover, there are many technical problems in the semantic dealing with the Arabic context. Therefore, most of the developed applications are not sufficiently proficient. However, due to the significance of the Arabic Language, it is inevitable to overcome these deficiencies in order to put the Arabic Language in the category of the machine-semanticallyinterpretable languages, rather than just the textually processable ones. This way, we can exploit the power of the Semantic Web features in extracting the essence of the knowledge residing in the Arabic web documents and going beyond dealing with its rigid texts.
