Light-Strip Model Based Highlight-Line Method for Surface Interrogation

Abstract: A method for surface interrogation named light-strip model based highlight-line technique is proposed. The principium of this method is: taking out a light-strip that includes axial line to replace light-cylinder, making all lines lie in a same light source plane, getting a series of highlight-points on surface by intersecting distance function with different plains, using cubic Hermite interpolation to fit continuous highlight-line cluster passing through those highlight-points.
