“…Shatenstein's initial communication (in Russian) concerning his studies on acid catalysis in liquid ammonia has been reprinted, in part, in German (60). This work was reviewed at an earlier date (2). A method by which polarimetric investigations of liquid ammonia solutions may be carried out has been described (61).…”
