LncRNA IMFlnc1 Promotes Porcine Intramuscular Adipocyte Adipogenesis by Sponging Mir-199a-5p to Up-regulate CAV-1

Abstract: Background: Local Chinese local pig breeds have thinner muscle fiber and higher intramuscular-fat (IMF) content. But its regulation mechanism has not been discussed in-depth. Studies indicated that long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important role in muscle and fat development. Results: The lncRNAs expressional differences in the longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle were identified between Huainan pigs (local Chinese pigs, fat-type, HN) and Large White pigs (lean-type, LW) at 38, 58, and 78 days post conception (dpc)… Show more

“…These results are consistent with those of previous studies. Wang, Chen, et al (2020), Wang, Zhang, et al (2020), Wang, Zhong, et al (2020) analyzed the liver transcriptomes of Yorkshire pigs and Anqing six‐end‐white pigs and identified 362 differentially expressed genes. These genes were significantly enriched in fat‐related GO terms and KEGG pathways, such as the lipid metabolic process and PPAR signaling pathway.…”

“…Previous studies have explored ceRNA networks that regulate fat deposition traits in different species. Wang, Chen, et al (2020), Wang, Zhang, et al (2020), Wang, Zhong, et al (2020) performed high‐throughput sequencing on adipose tissues of the 0.5‐ and 2.5‐year‐old yaks, and constructed a ceRNA network related to intramuscular fat deposition, contained 10 mRNAs, 5 miRNAs, 5 circRNAs, 3 lncRNAs, and 29 relationships. Chen et al (2019) constructed a ceRNA network of 96 lncRNAs, 71 miRNAs, and 84 mRNAs involved in adipogenic differentiation of chicken preadipocytes, and eight of which have been experimentally verified.…”
