Local treatment of gastroduodenal ulcers

Abstract: In spite of the established ideas about peptic ulcer as a general disease of the whole organism, there is a continuous flow of publications in which local treatment of ulcers of the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum is recommended. With the development of fiber optics, it became possible to target the ulcers, activating reparation processes in them. Adhesives and film-forming compositions MK-6, Lifusol, Gastrovol etc. were used to cover the ulcers.
