Localization Uncertainty in Time-Amplitude Stereophonic Reproduction

Abstract: This paper studies the effects of inter-channel time and level differences in stereophonic reproduction on perceived localization uncertainty. Towards this end, a computational model of localization uncertainty is proposed first.
