Logística Reversa De Medicamentos No Brasil / Reverse Logistics of Drugs in Brazil

Abstract

O manejo e o descarte incorretos de medicamentos em desuso, gerados por tratamentos interrompidos ou por estarem fora do prazo de validade caracterizam um grande desafio para a sociedade atual em virtude das consequências que estes resíduos podem causar ao meio ambiente e à saúde em geral. Esta revisão da literatura, baseada em livros, legislações, notícias e artigos científicos, visa compreender a situação do descarte e da logística reversa de resíduos de medicamentos no Brasil a partir da publicação da Lei 12.305 que dispõe sobre a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos -PNRS, publicada em 2010. Com base nos materiais avaliados nota-se que no Brasil há grande desinformação de como proceder com resíduos de medicamentos, e por isso, estes acabam sendo descartados juntamente com os resíduos domiciliares, em pias, em vasos sanitários, entre outras formas inadequadas de descarte. A maioria dos cidadãos desconhecem os impactos que estes resíduos podem causar, o que evidencia a necessidade de orientação, inclusive para profissionais da área da saúde. A legislação é clara no que se refere a este grupo de resíduos, porém é preciso ser cumprida e fiscalizada para que o Sistema de Logística Reversa alcance seus objetivos no enfrentamento dos principais problemas ambientais, sociais e econômicos decorrentes do manejo inadequado destes resíduos. Para se atingir o descarte correto é necessária uma ação conjunta, que vai do fabricante até os coletores, aliada a atividades de orientação incluindo palestras, divulgações em mídias e locais de atendimento à saúde e campanhas que atinjam a população em geral.

“…The second question asked to the 63 pharmacies that receive medication, sought to verify whether there are any containers exposed to dispose of medications, which could be a way of disclosing correct disposal (Souza, 2021). In this sense, only 29.2% of drugstores answered yes, that they have the container exposed, which shows that this type of advertising is still little explored in pharmacies in the FD.…”

“…Most drugstores (70.8%), however, stated that they do not have containers exposed to the consumer, which can be a barrier to correct disposal, due to lack of disclosure (SOUZA et al, 2021). On the other hand, among the alleged reasons for not exposing the containers, there is the issue of safety.…”

“…Given the above, it is important to highlight that the action taken by an organization can impact the environment and people's lives, therefore, the theme of reverse logistics of expired or disused medicines should have more space in television media and social networks. Considering that medication advertisements on television are frequent, and, comparing them with RL campaigns, it can be stated that the correct disposal of medication is almost non-existent (SOUZA et al, 2021). Finally, when verifying the results obtained by the research in pharmacies and drugstores, most receive unused or expired medicines, acting correctly, however, for the medicine to have its correct destination, it is necessary that the primary actor of the waste, the final consumer, know your role in the chain and play it assertively and effectively.…”

Conscientização Sobre O Descarte Correto De Resíduos

“…O descarte de maneira incorreta traz grandes riscos à saúde humana e ao meio ambiente, levando à contaminação ambiental, visto que esses insumos terão seu destino final em aterros, lixões, estações de tratamento de água/esgoto, corpos d'água ou no solo. Esse tipo de situação, que poderia ser controlada, devese em grande parte ao fato de a sociedade não ter informações quanto à forma correta do descarte de medicamentos e seus riscos (SOUZA et al, 2021). O emprego da comunicação por redes sociais é uma forma de estreitar os laços entre as pessoas e garantir que o conhecimento possa chegar a um maior número de usuários da internet.…”
